At MIBRAIN, we are dedicated to advancing psychoeducation on mental and brain health. Our mission aligns seamlessly with the goals of Mental Health Action by People (MAP), an NGO committed to promoting wellbeing and quality of life through proactive community mental health interventions.
MAP, registered as a charitable organization, was inaugurated by the renowned social activist and poet Smt. Sugatha Kumari, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries such as Sree O Rajagopal (then union minister), Sree A Sambath (member of parliament), and Sree K Muralidharan (member of legislative assembly).

One of the standout initiatives of MAP Academy is the MAP Talk series, held every second Wednesday of the month. These talks feature mental health professionals who deliver psychoeducation on various topics. MAP Founder Chairman Dr. Krishnan Gireesh invited Abhisweta Bhattacharjee, founder of MIBRAIN to deliver a public talk on autism. On April 17th, Abhisweta presented an informative session on "Behavioural Interventions in Autistic Spectrum Disorder", attended by 18 MAP members. The meeting was chaired by Prof Thiyam Kiran Singh, the Head of the Department of Psychology in Nagaland University.
